Now I have to admit that I did cheat with this, cause my followers and the people I am following are basically the same, but hey as a non famous person its one of the most effective ways. Yeah, you saw it right, I went up a BUNCH of followers again. And I love it, because it just means that more people understand what it is I am trying to do here. But with being overactive on instagram, it just makes sense that I should be all happy that my efforts are showing results. Because it aint easy liking and commenting on all these posts and pics. This is a slight decrease, but I still cant get mad, because Im in the triple digits scene now. And since this is just the Week 26 Social Media Experiment Results I am sure that in following editions I can make this go up even further. Because I have decided to increase the marketing for my own brand by lets say ten fold, and it should have a direct effect on the amount of hits I will be getting in. Ok so the reason for the fact that I got 0 views, is because I was too busy with other stuff to ACTUALLY wrap up the videos. They are like on 80% and 90% but I didnt have the time to bring them to a close. So instead I just took some of my old poetry and put that up. Its cheating I know, but sometimes you have to choose between money and what you are doing for yourself, and money can beat you at sometimes. And that is what happened, I know its excuses, but hey Im still not perfect yet. And with the Week 26 Social Media Experiment Results being as they are, I can accept this number, cus its not the first time it happened. But now that I am here, I am more than sure that I can bring this to a complete turnaround with my new concept for Vino Venitas.

Yeah, you heard it hear first, I just got one extra like on my page. I just did that, I should throw a party for this occasion. And then invite only these 141 people to come and join me. But yeah, lets get happy and be coo and not let the lack of growth affect us too bad. Because like I said, I am planning some good marketing for VinoVenitas.com and the channel I will use to do it, will be Facebook. So I am assuming that this will indirectly get some feedback from it, and should increase my likes. That is what I am assuming, but I cant be too certain of it of course. Overall Experience

Ok so, this week Vino Venitas had 2 performances, one on the radio and one at a Nelson Mandela rally, where I got to perform my Mandela piece. And I also had a few meetings about certain issues regarding SpokenNotes, and then I had to go out and be cordial to some folks. Lets just say that it was a pretty hectic week, because I also got some freelance jobs in, designing things for folks. And after all that I still had to make sure I do 10 tweets a day, 1 instagram picture a day and 1 poem and 1 story for the website and 2 youtube videos. The one that kind of got kicked in the nuts was the Youtube one. But I did do all the other stuff on point and without fail. And btw, do you guys realize that for the last few months I have been kicking out 10 damn tweets everyday and each one is just a freestyle I make up on the spot. That is kind of dope … its kinda is. But yeah, lets conclude the Week 26 Social Media Experiment Results right here, and go and have a good Sunday for as far as we still can.

Because just a few months ago, we or I was stuck at 75 for a long time. and NOW yes NOW, we get more than that in just one darn week. That my dear friends, is just beyond coo its sexy … yes its sexy. So now that we are here on the Week 25 Social Media Experiment Results and all is splendor its coo to see that the activity of my likes and comments are working. So yeah, even I am a little baffled and dazed at the spike in this one. Because I didnt change too much, but the overall effects of these posts are somewhat remarkable. I like how it seems that my SEO improvements, have casted some shine on my site. I will have to make sure that I keep strong with this wordy based way of writing. Because the more words I put in, the better my site is to be found. The Week 25 Social Media Experiment Results is a good one, because we finally reached that darn 100 ceiling and went through it with flair. So the more pieces I write that go directly to trends, I will make sure to get in some more hits. And HITS … yes people … HITS they are a good thing. But I am still unable to get in these damn hits. I will truly get to this once I wrap up the series, of spelling out my name. And once I am done spelling my name, I will once again attack this from a different angle. And I promise you that this new angle might just be the right one … or at least I hope so. Because people, yes people, I do need these hits to come in asap. But this will not dampen my spirits, and it will not lower what I do … its still good to go for the boy with regards to my motivation.

Yeah not a damn thing changed, and that is just the most weird and frustrating thing ever. Because in the end, this damn Facebook is just NOT budging at all, even if it receives all the stuff I do. Ok so the Instagram rise was due to my active ways on there, and my just liking and commenting on every dope or coo poetry pic I can find. And mix that in with the fact that I am now trying to increase my own hashtag, by nominating other writers to do similar pieces, I might just have something going with this. And then of course is this aggressive Twitter method that could work. But yeah this might just be the Week 25 Social Media Experiment Results, but its still a pretty good look. And once again Youtube is the one at the bottom, and Facebook even fell off.

Not as big a spike as these other weeks, but I am doing pretty good with regards to still getting new followers. And these new followers are still a great addition to my Instagram account, because I love sharing my work and I appreciate people liking it. But yeah, Instagram is still the big winner in this Week 24 Social Media Experiment Results, because just a few weeks ago it was still at 75. And I did come up with this nominate a writer concept, after I was nominated, but that would mean I would have to write a piece for instagram as well. Of course I could do it, but hey lets just see how it works out first.

Ok so the world is no longer reacting to my old trick, so I have to either find a new trick or just keep on as I been keeping on, and see how that would work. But the thing is, if I just do what I have been doing my followers wont go up AT ALL, till I get one viral tweet in. And that day might never come. Yeah, the site has ALMOST and I do mean ALMOST hit that 100 mark, and if I can get that, I would be REALLY happy. Because that means the site has like gone up a 1000% from where it was. And that is the best thing for my website. And I am still writing a bunch of pieces, to make sure that I can increase the luck factor to get me some viral chances. But even if this is the Week 24 Social Media Experiment Results, it doesnt matter, because I am not giving up on it.

So yeah, I had like 250+ spike in this weeks followers. And the reason for that, was because I had to let go of some pride, and just do what needed to be done to get this followers in. I didnt want to make my twitter account one of those that just follows back everyone that follows them. But alas, if you arent famous, or didnt go viral yet … you kind of dont have a choice if you want to gain followers. And since I kind of dont want to buy them, I have to do some other stuff. But yeah, I did get some followers, so all in all I cant really get that mad … just a bit sad I had to let go of some pride. But the Week 23 Social Media Experiment Results should show some progress when comparing it to the 22nd right?

I got to the 600 mark, and yes that is a big deal, because I didnt expect to hit that one so soon. Im happy about that, cause I dont have to do the follow back thing, for this one. I just get to make sure that I post quality pics and people like them. I respond a lot better to that. So now we have to make sure that we dont lose them … got to make sure we keep motivating the heck out of these followers. And once again, it becomes clear that I need to have a clear direction for what ever it is I do. Because people dont tend to follow people whose creativity is all over the place. So now that I am at the Week 23 Social Media Experiment Results, I can safely say that I have found my path when it comes to Instagram.

Once again, this might look like shallow numbers, and in a way they are. But I never had these kind of numbers back when … and I know I keep saying that … but if I dont I might just get pissed at the lack of hits and thats not positive thinking and that wont help ANYONE. But I did see a good rise due to my direct writing to trends. Im gonna try to keep this up, and see how far I can take this, and if this could work. Ok so this is the main spot I wanted to focus on, and it seems I am truly missing the point here. I have yet to establish a concrete path for the videos I am making. So far everything is word based, but it seems that that kind of stuff doesnt work for people. So I have to find something else, so I can make sure people get what I do. But it seems I will have to simplify and make it more accessible for the regular Joe. It has been a few days since I have been in front of the cam. I think I might start a new series, where my face is once again key. Because this just isnt working. I have come up with a few concepts I will try for the upcoming videos, but I am slowly running out of ideas … or should I say Im starting to get the feeling that my ideas keep hitting an invisible wall.

Lol, this is the Week 23 Social Media Experiment Results, but seriously, I might just take this out of the weekly evaluations because there is absolutely no growth in this. I dont even feel like people are paying it any attention. And the reason for that is because Facebook has this algorithm that makes sure that you only see what you have liked before. So without that endorsement, all my hard work falls into nothingness. So Im thinking about what I should do with this one.

Overall Experience

My instagram and my twitter, have both grown pretty good in these last few weeks. And my website has undergone a complete SEO revitalization which helped bring in some stray hits. But my Youtube and Facebook have both been ignored to an extent that it feels as if Im drowning in the sea of nonsense that is the internet. But yeah, this is the Week 23 Social Media Experiment Results and I have to say that I did do something good, and I did improve my skill set on several things, but the key element I was chasing is still eluding me. Yes, I went up a complete 138 followers this week. And believe it or not, I have actually started to think that I could get more followers than this. If that happens, wouldnt it be awesome. I had to kind of readjust my expectations with regards to the final results of this one. So that is a pretty slick little rise, in hits. And I swear to you, I keep getting different numbers from my statistics analysis sites, but in the end of it all, I have to follow one right? But yeah, I understand now that the SEO stuff really does work, and as long as I keep at it, I might find the one that strikes oil. Just keep in mind that I am going at stuff directly now, instead of going left and right with my words.

Yeah, I kind of have a pretty good idea of what went wrong with this, but I just didnt think it would effect the rise THIS much. But it seems I will have to either set aside my pride and keep following people back and raise my followers … or stick to my pride and just wait for people to understand that I am worth following. Im kind of wondering which one will be the one to win in this one, because I do want more followers, but I dont want to drop my pride that easily … so if I dont get a rise by next week, I will just do what needs to be done, and keep following people back. But yeah, a small rise of 8 isnt that good after you had a few hundreds a few days back … not panicking just SAYING!!! This is another lol, and seriously I should just start making vids that attract hits instead of vids that I think I should have in my portfolio. The issue with that of course is the fact that if I wanted to do those kind of vids, I should do them on a different channel. But I still did them, because THAT is how you learn, and since we are doing this whole experiment thing, it just makes sense that we try to see what works and what doesnt work. Now the amount of hits that my site is getting DOES feel different, since I have a few OTHER systems keeping track of this, but hey I am not gonna nitpick the results, by comparing it over and over. But yeah, the amount of hits these 43 are giving me, doesnt feel that bad. So I am still being happy, that I can say that I got this on the Week 21 Social Media Experiment Results. But yeah, I am looking at how I can get that 1000 people mark on this one … looking into it.

Yeah I was super late with dropping this weeks vids, and I did cheat cause I just took some old performances and placed them on the account. This doesnt really count, but it is 2 new vids that havent been on my account before, so I was cheating but not really … its a weird feeling … its truly a weird feeling. But yeah there you go.

Overall Experience

It was a pretty ok week with regards to business, but my creative side did take a small hit to the throat, because I was super slow with making sure everything was on time. But I didnt miss one deadline, and I made sure that everything was still on point. I should look into how I can make things better for the spots that I didnt give too much attention with regards t o getting in more hits. I should also try to find more viral worthy content … but its hard to do that for a simple writer who likes to be creative on all facets of creativity. Ok so, I was once again late with dropping the second vid. But the reason for that is pretty simple, I was kind of sad at the way the things were going. And I am not the most productive and creative when Im sad … so I had to get past the sadness first before I could get down and create something again. So that is why the hits are so low.

Ok so I went up almost 200 plus followers this week. Which is pretty darn dope, and we hope that this momentum will keep going, and going so that I can just see some REAL growth in this. The reason for this could be the followback hashtag, but I personally think its because I was added to a few lists, that told people to follow me.

So I got 47 extra followers this week, and that is beautiful, because I was stuck at 75 for a pretty long time. So to see this kind of growth come my way is just happiness in an internet connection. Ok, so it seems we are once again dropping down with this one, so I should up my pen game a bit. And I have come up with a pretty coo concept, that could work if I push it the right way. I am thinking about the right strategy to make sure my new concept for the site will work. I might just try to make use of the current amount of followers I have. But yeah, I am gonna try to make this site a bit bigger than it is right now.

Overall Experience

Ok so the overall experience, of this week was that I was a little tired and sad at the same time. I wasnt able to tap into the full potential known as my creativity. Its slow oh yes its slow but that doesnt mean, it isnt here. And just because something isnt going as fast as you want it to go, doesnt mean that you should be mad at the progress that is being made. Ok so I had a total rise of 3 extra subscriptions and a total of 40 hits this week. I have to add to that, that due to some unforeseen stuff I wasnt able to upload the 2nd vid on time, and this I can only count one hit for that one. But yeah, keeping up with these deadlines while trying to make money is pretty hard at times. But yeah, losing the office forced me back to create with shooting, and I have to say its pretty coo, but it takes a lot longer. But yeah either, I will be pushing these vids upon the internet a bit more, cause I do like these last two. So I might come back on this number later on, but for now this had to be included in the Week 19 Social Media Experiment Results so I cant be helped.

Yeah, this one is the one that makes me smile the most, because seriously man … I have been uploading pics everyday for a LONG time, and I didnt seem to get ahead. But now Im finally seeing some growth on this, which makes me smile. Given, I am cheating but hey sometimes the world requires you to do so. But nevertheless, its a nice look to see me grow like this. I got a total of 83+ plus followers this week alone, and it puts a smile on this weary heart of mine.

So yeah, this one saw a nice little spike as well, Im pretty sure I can break that 1k mark sometime soon. And then Its time to set my sights higher and go for that 2k, and so on. Lets see if we can end with 10k, without compromising the integrity of my account. And I will state this now, I will only follow 1000 people, and not any more. Because more than 1000 followers just makes no sense.

So this is like the only place, where you dont maintain and keep growing upwards. This one is just based on how many you got this one week. Its not a bad measuring spot, as it does show how many people actually visit the site to read what it is I do. And I will state this point one more time … last 2 years, I had a total of 40 hits ALL TOGETHER. So having this many in one week, just cant be a bad thing. It just cant. And if you look at the Week 19 Social Media Experiment Results and the previous ones, you will see a nice rise in this one as well.

Yeah I went up 1 … so honestly I dont pay ANY attention to this facebook page, because it has my twitter feed, and my twitter feed has my instagram feed and all the videos I do … so it just kind of makes sense that its loaded with info. So why should I pay any special attention to it … but I could be wrong … I could be, but if you look at the rest of the Week 19 Social Media Experiment Results its kind of hard to get mad at this one.

Overall Experience

Overall Experience for Week 19 Social Media Experiment Results is pretty coo. I tried to maintain the quality of the posts I do, as well as slightly improve the quality of the vids I make. I also made sure to write pieces that fit terms that people would actually google. And then at the last step I made sure to lighten the mood a little as well. Im still feeling the pain from losing the office, and its sent me down a bad spiral as I lost all control of my sleeping patterns once again, but hey Im not one to complain. Ok so once again, we find ourselves back at the end of the week. And so I have to give you guys the Week 18 Social Media Experiment Results, and I am pretty sure you will like some of them, if not all of them. Because this was a pretty good week, it could have been better, but hey we are here for the long run and not the short one. So shall we get it started, with the results for this week.

Views: 12 so my vids had a total of 12 hits which is pretty sad if you think about it. Im working on improving the overall marketing standing behind vids.

Followers: 175 a total of plus one … from last week …

So since I am focusing on the marketing behind the vids, and overall quality of the videos that I place, I hope that sometime soon I will get some more shine on these here vids. The sad part of course is that it might take a second, regardless of how dope the vids will be. But yeah, words will make it happen for me.

Followers: 187 from 75 last week … yeah that just happened!!!

Ok so I was lucky enough to get a 100+ followers in one week, and trust me it makes me happy as heck to get them. I was following the standard technique of posting quality pics on a regular schedule, but for some reason this new cheating method is a LOT more effective. I will write a piece about it, but for now this stuff is really helpful as you can see. So it seems that cheating is a lot more effective than actually working hard on something. But yeah, now that I have this new thing in my corner, I feel like I might just end up with 300+ followers by the end of next month. And with results like this the Week 18 Social Media Experiment Results just make you happy.

Followers: 639 from a 518 last week.

Yeah this was another good week for Twitter, as I got a 100+ followers. The key behind this one was the #followback and that just gave me a BUNCH of people who just wanted a follow back. Does make you smile, that its that easy to get some followers. But yeah, it seems like my tweets are drowning in the sea of other people they tend to follow. I guess I will have to make more noise to get my tweets out there, so they can be retweeted and shared all day.

I have to say, that I have no idea what got these 2 people in, but Im not mad at them for finding me there. I do seem to share most things on Twitter, and since Twitter is the only one linked to my Facebook, it makes sense that you follow that one if you just want it all. Ok so this was a pretty epic rise for the boy. I know it might seem insignificant for most of you, but for me who didnt have any visitors on the site for some time, its pretty darn coo to get people to come. So if I can keep this rise going at a steady rate, Im gonna be one happy duck, and might even a do a happy dance for you as well. And I am hoping that I will be able to make these darn Week 18 Social Media Experiment Results and the future ones will draw in some public.

Overall Experience

Ok so due to the loss of my office, I have been kind of in a slump with regards to my creativity. But the thing is, if I feel that way I just need to make sure I focus my energy and skills on something else. So instead of shooting stuff and trying to be super creative I decided to do some back end stuff. I improved the quality of the SEO that stands behind VinoVenitas.com and it did help. I did see a nice improvement with regards to visits, and I am sure it will help me along the line as well, if I keep going like this.
