So my friend Ray Poulina, just added a picture to his instagram, and when I saw it I just KNEW there was a story behind it. So I did what I do and created the story. This is my ode to wanting some peace of mind, and craving some rest from all the nonsense. Read it and let me know what you think.
My trip to Kyoto was long, cold and not as much fun as I hoped it to be, but here is the blog anyway. This is the first picture edition, so let me know how I can improve this.
Vino Venitas or yours truly, what ever you want is back with another blog. So for your enjoyment, for your pleasure and for your curious needs, I give you the second blog. Still the Japan edition, cause Im still here. Kind of makes sense doesnt it.
Figured I should start sharing the work that will not make the second story book. This is one of those stories. I like it, and I hope you will too. I based it on a picture I found online, and lets just say the picture says it all. All Im doing is framing the image with letters. Let me know what you think.
Ok here it is, the Vino Venitas Blog. It took a second to get online, but enjoy and let me know if it was all you expected it to be.
This was my third or second performance. And it was for the Black Magic Women Festival. So I made a poem, where I stated the truth about men and women. The way I see it, but nonetheless the truth. So let me summarize it all up for you: Women are Awesome.
This was a poem I wrote for Cinnamon Wednesdays. The theme of the night was Africa, and so I wrote a poem about Africa. This was a crowd participation poem, so the freedom needs to be screamed by the audience. But in this case the one screaming will have to be YOU. Remember that when you read it. And make sure you enjoy it.
This is my first movie trailer, I made for my movie Deaths Mercenary. I wrote the script, I directed the movie. And I will make sure that once its done, it will hit the theaters near you. Its based on a story from my book, this will be the second movie coming out from the book.
Since I never repeat my poetry, if you miss a performance, then you will miss that poem. To balance it out, I will post all the poems I perform right here. This is a poem I performed at poetry circle Nowhere. I wrote this after I was approached to do a show AFTER my performance. So I felt like thanking poetry, and here it is.
Sometimes someone, just wants to show me that they can silence me. And this girl gave me words that literally shut me up. This poem was dedicated to me, so I felt the need to share it with all of you. Make sure you check her wordpress: Amira Day
